I help startups go from idea to working product — fast. No bloated feature sets, no over-engineering. Just the core product your users actually need.

What I build

Stephen Alvin
Founder, mvp.sg
Who am I
I'm Stephen. I co-built FireJet, a B2C SaaS product to $100K ARR, and through that process I learned what actually matters when you're starting out and what doesn't.
Most startups over-build. They spend months on features nobody asked for, burn cash, and miss their window. I take the opposite approach. We'll figure out the core thing your users need, build it well, and get it in front of people.
I work directly with founders, that means no project managers, no handoffs, no game of telephone. You talk to the person writing the code.
How it works
01
We chat. You tell me what you're building and who it's for. No decks needed.
02
I figure out what actually needs to be built. Not a feature wishlist — the minimum that proves your concept.
03
You get a working product. Real code, real infrastructure, real users can use it.
04
Users give feedback, we learn, we improve. Rinse and repeat until you have product-market fit.

My philosophy
I'll push back on features that don't serve your core users. A focused product beats a bloated one every time.
I pick boring, proven technology where possible. Your MVP doesn't need a microservices architecture.
I'll tell you what's realistic and what isn't. No inflated estimates, no scope surprises.
The code, the infrastructure, the accounts — it's all yours. No lock-in, no strings attached.
One person, one chat. I don't hide behind ticketing systems or weekly status meetings.
The first version is never the last. I build things so they can evolve as you learn from your users.
Every project gets free hosting on an mvp.sg subdomain. Your app goes live instantly — no messing with DNS, servers, or deployment pipelines. Just focus on your product.
